MILLER LITE SUMMERFEST 2007

SET TO EXPLODE AT RIVERSIDE SPEEDWAY

 

            Riverside Speedway in Groveton, New Hampshire is set to explode with excitement, as Miller Lite presents Summerfest 2007 on Friday and Saturday, July 27th and 28th. The P.A.S.S. sanctioned Speedway will feature the P.A.S.S. Super Late Models and P.A.S.S. Mods, as well as all eight Riverside regular divisions, plus Monster Truck Madness both days.

 

            The weekend kicks off on Friday night with the Jake McDowell Memorial 100. This 100 lap Street Stock event is open to all Riverside , Thunder Road and White Mountain Motorsports Park Street Stocks. Each Street Stock can run exactly by their home track rules. This event pays $500 to the winner with a healthy purse being paid throughout the pack. Also on the card will be Late Models, Super Stocks, Daredevil Youth Racers and Monster Trucks. Post time for this event will be 7:30pm . The pits will open at 3:30pm , and the grandstands will open at 5:30pm .

 

            Then on Saturday, July 28th, The P.A.S.S. Super Late Models will invade Riverside Speedway for the first time in two years, as last years event was rained out twice. Leading the charge will be the father and son dynamic duo, Mike and Ben Rowe. Perennial favorite, Johnny Clark, will be headed along with a couple of super late entries including the legendary “Dynamite” Dave Dion, and Kelly Moore. This will be the first time at the track for both Dion and Moore , but count on them to be a factor in the end. Joining the Super Late Models will be the P.A.S.S. Mods. These sleek machines always put on a great show for the crowd, and this year the local fans will have something special to cheer about, as Whitefield, New Hampshire hotshoe, Sami Gooden, a 2006 graduate of the Riverside Speedway Daredevil Youth Racer Division, will be in the field. The youngster could certainly show many P.A.S.S. Mod teams the quick way around the high banked, quarter mile speedway. Several other divisions will make their way to Riverside as well on Saturday. They include the Outlaw Sportsman, S.T.A.R. Vintage Racers, Dwarf Cars, Angels, Cyclones and Monster Truck Madness will make its’ second appearance of Summerfest 2007. Post time is 5pm. The pits open at noon , practice begins at 1:30PM . The grandstands open at 1:30pm for two day ticket holders, and 2pm for general admission seating.

 

            Summerfest 2007 is the most affordable value in racing for the entire family. Adults 2 day tickets are just $25, Juniors ages 10-14, & Seniors 62 and over two day tickets are just $20.00, and Kids 9 & under pay just $5.00 for a two day ticket. Fridays general admission is $12 for adults, Jr. & Sr. just $10, and Kids are just $3. Saturday admission prices are $15 adults, $12 Jr. & Sr., and $3 for Kids. There will be free overnight camping beginning at 8am on Friday, July 27th.
